William Cossio settled his dispute with RR Auto Sales, Inc. of Hialeah, Florida and Great American Ins. Co. in County Court of Miami-Dade County (Case no. 11-62213 CC) on February 16, 2012.

Cossio was the buyer of a used car, andĀ alleged that the used car dealer (RR Auto Sales) attempted to freeze his registration with a Repossession Recovery Attempt Stop with the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles pursuant to Florida Statutes Section 320.1316, after the buyer had given the car back to the dealer in a voluntary repossession. Cossio sued the dealer and the dealer’s surety for damages and recission of the contract.

Dana L. Manner represented the plaintiff in this case.
